How to make aloo kabab
ALOO KABAB RECEPIE
There is hardly a person in Pakistan and India who does not like aloo kebab. Vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike love this recipe because of its unique flavor. This is a multi-purpose recipe that you can share along with the main course or as an appetizer.
People also like to share this recipe with brunch or tea time as breakfast. Ramadan is the seasonal season for this recipe, as the Iftar dinner with chutney is delicious and the old potatoes look incomplete without kebabs- key ingredients:
Mashed potatoes - 3 large sizes,
Spices: salt to taste, red chilli powder - 2 teaspoons, hot spice powder - 2 teaspoons, cumin powder - 2 teaspoons, coriander - 2 teaspoons, chaat masala - 2 teaspoons.
Add Sour to Kebabs - Lemon Juice - 1 tbsp
To add crispness: bread crumbs - 2 tablespoons + cornflour - 1 tablespoon
Green Ingredients - Chopped Onion + Green Pepper + Fresh Coriander - Will make kebabs fragrant and delicious
- How to make:
Step 1:First boil the starchy potatoes and after boiling, peel the skin and mash it with the potato mash. Season with salt, red chilli powder, garam masala, cumin powder, coriander, chaat masala, and lemon juice. Also add freshly crushed bread crumbs and cornflour. Add chopped onion, green chillies and fresh coriander.
Step 2:Mix all the ingredients by hand and make a kebab strip. Shallow fry until golden brown on both sides.Serve with green sauce or ketchup.
