How to make crispy pkora

If you love real food and belong to the South Asian region, then you must love 'Pakora'. A traditional fried food prepared using gram flour in a different style is called pakoora which people like to eat. It's simple and easy to make. Because of its mouth-watering taste, eaters can eat it at any time of the day.

Today, I am sharing an authentic confectionery style pakoda recipe (pakoda recipe | pakoda recipe) which will make crispy pakoda in 3 ways.

Ingridents:

1-Gram flour(basan)- 2cups

2-Corn flour-1 tbsp

3-Salt- 1 tbsp

4-Red chilli powder-1 tbsp

5-Chat masala powder-1 tbsp

6-Baking powder- 1/3 tbsp

7-Water 150ml ( to make batter)

8-Oil for deep frying

9-Vegetables ( potato & onions)


Method

Make Gram Flour Paste: In a bowl, add gram flour (besan), corn flour, salt, red chilli powder, chaat masala powder, baking powder and mix all the ingredients together with the help of whisk.

 Now slowly and gradually add water and make a thick paste.

Beat the mixture for a few minutes until you get a smooth texture.

Cover the bowl for 30 minutes to get set.

 Vegetable Cutting: Cut onion in the form of rings and slices. In the same way, cut potato slices and fingers.

To make potato slices pakoda, first dip the potato pieces in a thick paste of gram flour (basin) and coat it well.

Now dip the slices in hot oil and deep fry well.As soon as the potato pieces turn golden brown, take them out on kitchen paper.

onion ring fritters. Dip onion rings in the same gram paste and coat well.

 Deep fry until crispy and golden brown in color.

 Add green chillies with potato fingers and onion pieces in the rest of the gram mixture and make lachha pakoda.

Mix well.Spoon the potatoes and onions into the hot oil.

 Fry on both sides until golden brown.

Now all the fritters are ready to eat.

Serve and enjoy with sauce
