How To Make Matar Paneer

             MATAR PANEER RECIPE




Matar Paneer is a delicious dish. Fried cottage cheese cubes and peas are cooked with mashed tomatoes, onions and spices. Then mix in cream and boil and serve with rice or pratha or roti or naan or puri.

Ingredients:

  • 3 packs of fried cottage cheese cubes
  • Peas 1-1 / 4 cup
  • 2 small pieces of onion
  • 3 small sliced ​​tomatoes
  • Double cream 1/2 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Red Chili Powder 1 tsp
  • Ginger pieces 1-1 / 2 inches
  • 2-3 pieces of green chillies
  • Hot spice powder 1 tsp
  • 2 tablespoons dried fenugreek leaves
  • 1 tablespoon coriander powder
  • Turmeric 1/4 teaspoon
  • Cumin 1 number
  • Cinnamon stick 1
  • 1 cup oil

Method

  • Heat 1/2 cup oil in a pan and fry onion, ginger and green chillies on high heat.
  • Then add tomatoes, salt, red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric, hot spice powder and 1/2 cup water and mix and cook on high heat till the tomatoes are melted.
  • Then cool it and make a paste.
  • Now heat the remaining oil, add cumin seeds, cinnamon stick and crushed spices and mix well.

                                                  


  • Add fried cheese cubes, peas, fenugreek leaves and 1 cup water, mix and cover and cook on low heat for 5 minutes.
  • Now add cream, mix well, cover and cook on low heat for 1 minute.
  • Then take it out in a dish and garnish it with a little cream and serve hot with rice or pratha or roti or naan or puri.
